About Tess

Tess Russell, co-founder of www.barefoottess.com, is a Baltimore native and rising junior at Middlebury College. She is just over 6 feet tall, wears a size 11 shoe, and enoys reading, writing, shopping (duh), and playing tennis in her spare time.

When getting dressed, Tess always aims for Mary-Kate Olsen-meets-Irina Lazareanu-meets-Peaches Geldof, with a dash of Sofia Coppola thrown in there to keep things reasonably sane. A signature Tess ensemble would consist of cat’s eye makeup, a colorful hat or headscarf, classic ballet flats, and a very mini minidress. Her favorite designers are Miuccia Prada, Giles Deacon, Jenni Kayne, and Diane von Furstenberg. If she ever meets Loulou de la Falaise, she will die a happy girl.

    Hi “Tess”

You are looking sooo fine. I would definately give you a ‘hot’ over a ‘not.’ I miss you. I love you, so does my friend molly. She actually has a great idea for an article about healthy body images. Please contact me soon so we can make sure to get the ball rolling.

Love your style–people describe me as Sheryl Crow meets Madonna.

Also love your shoes…just wish you carried narrows and more heels. Even though I, too, am six feet tall–with a 36″ inseam at minimum–I LOVE heels!

    Hope to see narrows soon!
